The new Bloomfield Popolari will make your taste buds feel they are in Milan. The goal of the pizza and pasta bar that debuted you this summer is to bring an authentic Italian vibe to New Jersey. The restaurants pizza oven was imported from the boot-shape country and bakes 2 pizza styles: 10 inch Napolitani and 16 inch American, There are plenty of yummy pasta dishes too and plans to create special menu that highlights other mediterranean cuisines such as Moroccan, French and Spanish.
Popolari was featured in Best of New Jersey for its pizza, pasta, and other Italian dishes. The team has created a fun, retro vibe in the space. The menu includes appetizers like Popolari meatballs, and calamari fritti as well as both classic and gourmet pizza options like penne vodka and spinach ricotta. There’s also a wide range of sandwiches, pasta, and entrees like pork chop and peppers or shrimp scampi.

For Bloomfield residents looking for a new place to enjoy a handcrafted pizza or a classic Italian pasta dish Popolari, a new “retro-chic” (as the restaurant owner describes it) pizzeria and restaurant opened on June 8th.”
